Catalytic combustion - removing volatile organic compounds
Topsoe's catalytic combustion technology and catalysts ensure the removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while saving energy and minimising CO2 emissions.
Depending on the VOC concentration Topsoe offers catalysts for two combustion technologies:
- CATOX for air with medium or high concentration of VOCs - 2-10 g/Nm3
- REGENOX for air with low or medium concentration of VOCs - 0.3-4 g/Nm3
Both CATOX and REGENOX units are easily designed for a purification grade of 99% or higher.
